rclone-lax is a private, single-user tool operated by its owner (an individual, not a company). It uses rclone to mount the owner's own Google Drive read-only on the owner's personal server so the owner can access their own files (e.g. for personal media playback).
It requests the Google Drive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly only to list and read files in the owner's own Drive. It does not modify, delete, or share any files, and it is not offered to the public.
